SSM Health at Home’s infusion pharmacy provides state-of-the-art infusion and enteral therapy management through our licensed home infusion pharmacy. Our pharmacists and nurses work in collaboration with the patient’s physician to ensure the highest quality of care. Therapy is provided to patients in their own homes.

Specialty Home Infusion Therapy

Now offering in-home Renflexis® infusion therapy

Save valuable time on infusion days by letting SSM Health at Home bring your therapy to you. Eligible patients can now receive their Renflexis® infusion from the comfort of home.

Renflexis® Infusion Therapy

  • Our infusion pharmacy receives a referral for in-home infusion from your provider.
  • SSM Health at Home’s infusion pharmacy will check with your insurance on cost and coverage.
  • Our staff will contact you with cost and coverage information so you can decide if you want home infusion at that time.
  • The infusion pharmacy will contact your provider for an order.
  • We will schedule your infusion for a time and date that works for you. The appointment will take between 2-3 hours.
  • A home infusion nurse will come to your home and administer your infusion.
  • We will courier your medication to your home the day before or the morning of your scheduled infusion; the shipment will include the following items:
    • Renflexis infusion
    • Pre-medications if ordered
    • Infusion reaction kit
    • Epi-pen
  • A home infusion nurse will come to your home to begin your infusion at the scheduled time.
  • The infusion will take approximately two hours, and the nurse will stay and monitor you while you receive your infusion.
  • Your nurse will stay for an hour after your infusion is complete to monitor you for any adverse effects, as needed.
