"To ALL the 2nd Floor staff- and especially the kind, patient, thoughtful souls who assisted our uncle during his stay the past 10 days, we want to express our gratitude.
It meant a lot to us that we could leave a vulnerable, confused, occasionally agitated, elderly uncle with dementia in your hands and feel that he would be kept safe in body and spirit.
We are grateful to the nurses, CNA's, aids, case managers, doctors, food workers, room cleaners, social workers; everyone who made our uncles stay at St. Clare Hospital and his transition back to his senior living community the best it could be under the circumstances.
We are leaving you with some of his favorite treats and flowers."
In honor of Nurses Week, an extra special thank you goes out to all of our nursing staff for all you do to care for patients with compassion and excellence!
