Jean Mlsna announces retirement after almost 40 years in healthcare leadership
May 08, 2024 12:27 PM - After almost 40 years in healthcare leadership, Jean Mlsna, SSM Health Regional Vice President of Specialty Care Services, announces her retirement. Jean’s last day will be Friday, May 10.
Over her nine-year tenure with SSM Health, Jean has made a significant impact on patients in our community. Before moving into her current role, Jean supported the regional eye care and Women’s Health services, solidified the orthopedics practice, and helped launch the new Outpatient Center in Sun Prairie.
Jean said her professional journey with SSM Health has been one of the most rewarding and transformational experiences of her career.
“The challenges faced, milestones achieved, communities served and the incredible teams I have had the privilege of working with have generated many proud moments and fond memories I will carry with me always,” Jean said. “I am both humbled and grateful to have been part of this organization.”
Jean’s leadership has significantly elevated SSM Health’s services in the Wisconsin region, said Jason Craig, Regional Vice President of Ambulatory Care.
“Beyond her professional achievements, Jean is well known for her considerate nature, boundless joy and diligent work ethic," Jason said. "She leaves of model of service that reflects her complete dedication to the mission of SSM Health.”
